Currently we are focusing our attention on the issues surrounding access to raw milk. Due to the harassment of farmers around the nation by the FDA on grounds of their interstate commerce law, Ron Paul has reintroduced his Bill that supports unregulated sales of fresh milk across state lines. We have provided letters below which you can use to express to your elected officials your support of freedom to choose fresh milk. We need to bring our officials attention to the fact that we are losing our freedoms to access and consume the foods of our choice; by standing together on the issue of fresh milk we are making it clear that American's want to remain free to choose the foods of their choice and that we want to protect and preserve our ability to purchase these foods from small, local farmers.   If you want to meet your representatives in person contact us directly, we can provide educational information to share with your reps, setup appointments, attend the meeting(s) with you and provide you a "fundraising" package that you can use locally to help pay your way to the Capitol. Customizable Letter (.doc)   Create a Food Freedom Policy in your town, county, state see some examples below: You can make a big impact in this food freedom movement, by influencing your local City or County Council to adopt language in support of farm-to-consumer private associations and contracts. This is truly a grassroots effort and if more local governments adopt such language the movement will gain enough support to influence food policy at a State and Federal level. One way you can be a part of this process is contact your county or city council and find a supportive representative to work on the adoption of such language. Some areas also have "Food Policy Councils" which you could contact as well.
